So let's go. First I want to introduce to my new best friend.
Not only am I repping my love of pure barre with this pb nalgene bottle, but I know that if I fill this bad boy up at least three times a day and drink it up, I am getting all the water I need. Want to know the benefits of drinking enough water? Well good, because I did some internet research and found some awesome facts for you all.
Water is EASY to find and is available pretty much anywhere! It's also practically free, so word up to that.
Drinking water fills you up - feeling hungry after lunch? have a glass of water, then wait 20 minutes, almost guaranteed that the hunger your were feeling is gone. I say hydrate before snackgate (stretch of rhyming?.........for sure)
Drinking water helps your metabolism go zooooom zooooom - dehydration is to your body what kryptonite is to superman. We are all looking to be our own version of superwoman, so let's make sure we hydrate. When you haven't had enough water to drink, your metabolism will slow to save energy for all the important things your body needs to survive. Dehydration PROHIBTS the ability for your body to burn fat.
Water flushes out yucky toxins from your body. Let's all be honest, at least when it comes to me, I put a few things into this temple of mine that aren't 100% legit, but that's what makes life fun, right? It's all about the balance. Just be sure to drink lots of water to flush all the yucky stuff out that intentionally and unintentionally enters our bods.
So my new bff goes everywhere with me, in the car, to the grocery store, outside to play with the kids, obvs pure barre class. It was really easy to get my daily dose of water when I tagged that water bottle along with me wherever I went.
Now, onto what I ate today. I know this is so boring and I know that a lot of people would get sick of this. I am the type of person who really likes consistency in my food, I don't want to have to think about it and when I am cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner for my kiddos everyday, I want and need what I eat to be super duper easy. I'm also not a big snacker, at least not when I am in a healthy state of mind.
Egg whites, my favorite salad and some yummy pork chops with half of a sweet potato. Mark loved this pork chop, so that's great news! He is on a healthy kick like me, so that really helps. You should check out this weeks meal plan, for details on what I ate today and you can also get some awesome breakfast options that my incredible sis-in-law (who is a breakfast person) loves and was delightful enough to share with all of you.
I promised you that I would have a schedule for those of you not training for a half marathon.
Here it is.
Tomorrow is running time, can't wait to let you know how it goes!

Hey! I am a new follower and stumbled upon your blog! I love your fitness routine! I have been wanting to try barre for awhile now and you have given me the inspiration to do it! I am currently training for a 1/2 marathon so why not add the barre!
